Learn the Eddie Dance!

Here is a step-by step guide to doing the Eddie Dance. Follow these steps to join in with Eddie next time you are in Eddie Catz!

Step 1: Find a nice, clear space and wave your arms around at the start of the song.

Step 2: When Eddie says, wave your hands high in the sky and touch the clouds, make sure you shake your hips as you do this!

Step 3: After touching all of the clouds, see if you can touch the ground. And then go up… to the clouds, down… to the ground and then all the way around.

Step 4: On Eddie’s word, hold your head, followed by your ears, followed by your nose and mouth and then hold your neck, closely followed by shoulders and then your chest and then the rest, which are your hips, knees and then toes.

Step 5 (The Chorus!): It’s time to SHAKE IT UP! Roll your arms and hands and then push to the sky on the “shake it up, shake it up”, start by moving to the left and then repeat to the right. And then on the final “shake it up” go all the way around in a circle again as you did at the end of step 3.

Step 6: Touch your toes, followed by touching your knees, and then your waist and then “the rest” again as you done in step 4.

Step 7: Time to repeat step 4 all over again!

Step 8: Time to repeat step 5 all over again!

Step 9: Time to repeat steps 4 and 5 all over again!

Step 10: Touch your toes, followed by your ankles, working your way up touch your chins, knees, thighs and waist before touching your… BOTTOM!!

Step 11: It’s the chorus again, so repeat step 5.

Step 12: Time to repeat step 4 all over again!

Step 13: It’s the chorus again, so repeat step 5.

Step 14: Give yourself a massive round of applause and a pat on the back. You have successfully learnt and mastered the Eddie Catz Dance… Time to teach your parents.

Fun-loving, long serving, party man of Eddie Catz. If found applying too many filters to one Instagram selfie, please return me to the lost and found department at Putney. Constantly struggling with cheesy pop songs and the desire to sing along to DJ Casper when out and about with friends. Other duties include being "fun-sized"… not short, changing light bulbs and dancing with a giant cat.
